PROTECTION SPELL JAR

Step One: Cleanse the Space
Clear the energy of your jar and your personal space. You can do this by passing the jar through incense smoke, ringing a bell, or simply visualizing a bright light washing over it.

Step Two: The Petition
On your small piece of paper, write your intent in the present tense.

Example: "I am protected and powerful" instead of "I want to be protected and powerful."

Fold the paper toward you (to bring things in) or away from you (to push things out), then place it at the bottom of the jar.

Step Three: Layering the Ingredients
This is the creative part. Add your ingredients one by one. As you drop each item in, say (out loud or in your head) what it represents.

"Salt to protect."

"Cinnamon for a quick boost of strength."

"Thyme for courage."

Step Four: The Seal
Close the jar tightly. You can use a piece of cord to wrap and symbolically 'bind' the contents of the jar. You may recite a binding spell to seal the deal (out loud or in your head):

'Herbs, flowers, spices divine
Dance with sparkling crystal
In this jar of mine.
That which I desire for good,
Please grant me.
Work your potent magic,
Blessed Be.'

Step Five: Maintenance
Once finished, place the bottle somewhere relevant to your main goal:

Protection: Near the front door or a window.

Abundance: On your desk or in your workspace.

Self-Love: On your bedside table or vanity.

Give it a gentle shake whenever you feel like the energy needs a "reboot"
